1. Controller

The controller responsible for the processing described below is:

Sebastian Kosicki
Römerstraße 11
72510 Stetten am kalten Markt
Germany
sebastian.kosicki@web.de

You can contact me at this email address with privacy questions or to exercise your rights.

2. Website delivery and hosting

The public website is hosted by STRATO GmbH, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin, Germany. STRATO processes the access data needed to operate and secure the website as the hosting provider.

When you access a page, data processed include your IP address, date and time, the requested page or file, HTTP status, data volume and, where transmitted, browser, operating system and referring page. These data are used to deliver content, maintain secure operation, and detect and prevent disruptions and attacks.

The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. The legitimate interest is the reliable and secure provision of this professional website. Necessary technical access data are transmitted automatically by your browser; without them, the website cannot be delivered.

STRATO states that IP addresses used to detect and prevent attacks are retained for no more than seven days. Access logs available in the customer account contain anonymised IP addresses or hostnames and cover six weeks. Anonymised graphical statistics may remain available longer. I do not perform additional analysis to identify individual visitors.

3. Contact by email

If you write to me, I process your email address, any name or other contact details you provide, your message including attachments and its technical metadata to respond to your enquiry and manage the associated correspondence.

For enquiries about a possible contract with you, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. Other enquiries, including professional contact enquiries, are processed under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. My legitimate interest is communicating with interested parties and handling their requests.

The mailbox is operated through WEB.DE, provided by 1&1 Mail & Media GmbH, Elgendorfer Straße 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany, with a branch at Brauerstraße 48, 76135 Karlsruhe. The email provider processes message and connection data needed to receive, store, secure and send emails. Its privacy information explains its own processing, including possible transfers to third countries and the safeguards it describes.

Enquiries are deleted once the matter has been fully resolved and retention is no longer necessary. Longer retention may be required for ongoing correspondence, statutory retention duties, or the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims. Statutory retention is based on Article 6(1)(c) GDPR; legitimate legal claims are based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Contact is voluntary. To respond to an email enquiry, I need at least a reachable email address and information about your request. Without these details, I cannot answer it.

4. Cookies, analytics and external content

This website does not itself set cookies or use browser storage such as Local Storage or Session Storage. It does not include analytics or advertising tracking, social media plugins, external fonts, maps or embedded videos. Fonts are supplied by your device; images, stylesheets and scripts are loaded from this website.

Email links open your own email application; clicking a link does not send a message. There is no contact form or registration.

5. Links to other websites

This website links to LinkedIn and public project reports from IGZ. Their content is not embedded here. When you follow a link, you access the external service and your browser transmits data there, including your IP address. The provider’s privacy information applies to that processing. The links are configured so that this website does not transmit a referring page address.

6. Your data protection rights

Subject to the applicable legal requirements, you have the right to access your personal data (Article 15 GDPR), rectification (Article 16), erasure (Article 17), restriction of processing (Article 18) and data portability (Article 20).

Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it at any time with effect for the future. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal. The activities described in this notice generally rely on the other legal bases stated above.

I do not use automated decision-making producing legal or similarly significant effects, or profiling, for the processing described here.

7. Right to object

Where processing is based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, you may object at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation (Article 21(1) GDPR). Processing will then stop unless compelling legitimate grounds overriding your interests, rights and freedoms can be demonstrated, or the processing serves the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.

You may object to processing for direct marketing at any time without stating such grounds (Article 21(2) GDPR). This website does not use your data for direct marketing. You can send your objection to the email address above.

8. Right to complain

You have the right to complain to a data protection supervisory authority (Article 77 GDPR), in particular in the Member State of your habitual residence, place of work or the alleged infringement.

The authority responsible for my location is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information Baden-Württemberg, Heilbronner Straße 35, 70191 Stuttgart, Germany. Information and complaint options are available at baden-wuerttemberg.datenschutz.de/beschwerde.
